The Future of Hollywood Leading Men and Women

This one is all on potential. She has already had a few performances and characters that have put her at the top of the talent list for young actors. Her performance is clearly the best in Traveling Pants (both of them). It seems effortless when making the audience feel the emotional wallop of her character. She also had Stephanie Daley, for which she deserved an Oscar. She has Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours coming out, and she got raves for being the star of the critically-acclaimed TV series Joan of Arcadia. Other than those, she has made some indie films that did not stick, which is why I used Laura Linney for the comparison. Linney had similarly enormous potential early on, and then she did almost strictly independent films. Tamblyn just needs to get the right couple roles, and then her talent could rise to that level.
